Around the world, UWC is committed to ensuring that as many students as possible can participate in its programs, regardless of nationality, culture, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic background. This is made possible through a combination of a selection process based on merit and potential, and the availability of full and partial scholarships. All forms of financial aid are made possible through donations from alumni and other individuals, foundations, organizations, and governments.

UWC Brasil is a Non-Profit Civil Association, registered under CNPJ 46.848.115/0001-31, and is equivalent to a 501(c)(3) entity in the United States.
